Jerry Delakas has been running the Astor Place Newsstand for the past 24 years.
The owner of the license had allowed Jerry to run the stand and bequeathed the license to him when she passed away.
He is now facing eviction from the stand he owns because the city says that their arrangement was illegal and he lacks the required license.
